Infant flown to Indianapolis hospital in life-threatening condition

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – A baby was flown to an Indianapolis hospital Saturday night after arriving at an area hospital in life-threatening condition.

The Department of Child Services was contacted per hospital protocol, and the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene investigators were called in to assist.

However, the Fort Wayne Police Department stated that investigators believed the infant’s injuries were related to a medical issue. 

No further information has been released at this time.
