IPFW Students Help Address High Cancer Rate in Blackford County

BLACKFORD COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Students at IPFW are helping Blackford County residents tackle high rates of cancer and neurological diseases throughout the area.

According to the News Sentinel, IPFW will work with the State Department of Health to look at the county's high cancer rates that have peaked since 1998.

Students will test the quality of the well water and take a look at the city's industrial history to determine if the two are related.
