FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mega-star rock band Kiss is coming to Fort Wayne.

The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum will host Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer, better known as “Kiss,” on August 12th. Coliseum officials made the announcement Friday morning.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 15.

The concert is part of the group’s Freedom to Rock summer tour. The tour has stops in more than 25 cities.

The band has been awarded 30 gold albums, more than any other American band to date, and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide since their debut in 1973.
