The Fort Wayne Komets opened up their ECHL season by splitting two games over the weekend, beating Evansville on the road Saturday 6-2 after falling to Kalamazoo in the home opener Friday 4-1. the K’s return to home action Saturday when they host Evansville in a 7:30 faceoff.
