Larwill Man Arrested After Altercation with Hospital Security Guard

KENDALVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): 66-year-old Scott A. Sponable of Larwill was hospitalized at Parkview Noble Hospital with a blood alcohol content of .27%. According to Indiana State Police, he allegedly punched a security guard in the face. Trooper Justin Snyder responded around 7:10 P.M. last night to the hospital. Sponable allegedly made verbal threats of violence toward Trooper Snyder after he was put in handcuffs. Sponable was then arrested and taken to the Noble County Jail on preliminary charges of intimidation, battery, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. No other hospital staff was injured.
