Law Regarding the Sale of Cold Beer Being Challenged

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Ever wondered why you can’t buy cold beer at some stores in Indiana? It’s a law that requires convenience, grocery, and pharmacy stores to sell beer at room temperature. Only liquor stores are allowed to sell beer cold. Well, the Indiana Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association is challenging Indiana’s law governing the sale of cold beer in court during a two-day trial starting Thursday. The trial will begin at 1:00 P.M.
