Man critical after hit-and-run in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened last night at the intersection of Calhoun and Killea.

Police say a man was riding a bicycle on Calhoun after leaving a liquor store at about 9:12pm, when he was hit by a car, which didn’t stop.

The man was alive an in serious condition when medics arrived, and was admitted to an area hospital where he was downgraded to critical condition.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is processing all potential evidence found at the scene, and are asking anyone who may have seen what happened to contact them.
