Man Dies When Car Struck by Train in Dunlap

DUNLAP, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities in northern Indiana say a man was killed Friday when the car he was in was struck by a train.
 
Elkhart County Sheriff's Capt. Jim Bradberry tells The Elkhart Truth the car was heading south in the community of Dunlap, about five miles south of Elkhart, when it was struck by the train after 11 a.m. Friday. Bradberry says the identity of the victim is being withheld until family members can be notified.
 
Bradberry says County Road 13 will be closed in that area for several hours while authorities investigate.
