Man Shot in Thigh on Warsaw Street in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man is recovering in the hospital today after being shot in the thigh early Tuesday morning.

The man checked in to the Parkview Randallia Hospital at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday. Police were called shortly after. 

The Journal-Gazette is reporting the man was shot on Warsaw Street as he was entering the passenger’s seat of a vehicle. His cousin, who he was visiting, drove him to Parkview. 

The man told police he doesn’t know why anyone would shoot him. He also said he didn’t see any shooters. Police are still investigating.
