FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry had heart surgery Monday.
The city of Fort Wayne released a statement Monday afternoon saying Henry had a successful heart bypass surgery.
“He is resting comfortably and anticipates returning to regular work activities in the next week to 10 days,” according to the city.
Karl Bandemer will fill in as deputy mayor. He is pictured on the left.
