Motorcycle Hits Deer in Steuben County

ORLAND, Ind. (WOWO): A man was injured when his motorcycle hit a deer in Steuben County Sunday afternoon.

At about 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, 52 year old David Musser was riding his motorcycle on State Route 327 south of Orland near County Road 500 N. It was there when a deer crossed his path and he hit it.

When paramedics arrived, Musser was lying on the east side of the road after being thrown from the motorcycle. The injured deer was found near Musser and his damaged motorcycle.

Musser is being treated at a Fort Wayne hospital. It's unknown what his condition is. The crash remains under investigation.
