New Details in Subway Robbery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): More details in an armed robbery this morning at a north side Subway.


Authorities say around 6 this morning, two black men entered the store at North Anthony and St. Joe River Drive. Once inside they forced a female employee into a back room. She was asked her open the safe and put all the money in a bag.

Then the woman was bond with zip ties. During the robbery, the bandits threatened to kill the worker, several times.

One suspect wore a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect wore a light colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Both had a black cloth-like covering over their faces.
