Noble County Manufacturer Invests in Avilla Plant

AVILLA, Ind. (WOWO): A Nobly County Manufacturer has invested over $10 million at a plant in the town of Avilla, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony this Friday.

Busche Enterprise Division Inc. is investing $10.2 million to renovate a 84,000 square foot factory on Progress Way W. in Avilla. The plant will start accepting delivery of new equipment next month.

The company is known for assembling casting for durable goods and automotive industries, with customers such as John Deere, Honda and Chrysler.

The company already employs more that 700 people at plants all across Indiana, and the new plant will add at least 100 new jobs.

According to the Journal Gazette, Busche officials estimate 2015 sales of at least $150 million.
