FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is dead after a single-car accident on I-69.  Around 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the single vehicle rollover crash on southbound I-69 near the 321 mile marker.

According to witnesses a gray car driven by a woman was driving erratic in the southbound lanes.  Her car crossed into the left lane, veered off the side of the road, then flipped several times before coming to a stop on its top at the bottom of the ditch. 

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.  She was wearing her seat-belt. So far, its unknown what factors played a role in this crash, but in the meantime, it remains under investigation.
