One Injured after Waterloo Crash

WATERLOO, Ind. (WOWO): Just after 8 last night, an officer attempted to pull over a speeding motorcycle at Center and Maple streets in Waterloo. The driver, 34-year-old Joseph Stewart, drove through a stop sign to avoid the officer, and then went on to strike a pickup truck. Stewart complained of injuries and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the truck, 58-year-old Randall Rufner, was uninjured. Police say there was an arrest warrant issued for Stewart and he now faces charges for resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, and driving while suspended.
