One injured in Plane Crash

WABASH, Ind. (WOWO): An Iowa man was airlifted to a local hospital after a plane crash this morning in northern Wabash County.

Around 10:30 a.m., the small plane experienced engine problems and crashed in soybean field near Urbana, that's about 7 miles north of Wabash.

Authorities say 52-year old Tracy Swift of Washington, Iowa suffered a possible broken leg. Investigators say the propeller came off the 1963 Beechcraft plane.

Two other people were on the plane, they appear to be uninjured.
