FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Three people were shot inside a Fort Wayne home Thursday night and police are now investigating.

It happened at a home on Madison Street near Francis Street just after 9:00PM.

Once on the scene officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department found one man dead inside the home, that according to our partners in news at ABC 21.

Another man and woman were also found shot. Medics determined the male victim to be in critical condition and the female victim to be in serious condition.

The deceased man was identified as 40-year-old Ricky Joe Pelmear of Fort Wayne. His death was ruled the 33rd homicide of the year for Allen County.

Investigators believe some sort of disturbance turned violent.
