<span style=”font-size: 18px;”>The fire department was called out to a house fire on CR 600 East near SR 8. 

Once crews arrived on the scene they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the

home. Our partners in news at 21 Alive report, crews had to stay back for quite some

time because ammunition that was stored in the house was going off.

Several area volunteer fire departments helped in fighting the blaze because the location

of the house made it difficult for firefighters to get water to the scene.

The burned house collapsed into the basement.

As of right now the identity of the victim has not been released.
