“Operation Pull Over” Starts Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Here's a warning for all you motorists out there–Indiana State Police will be conducting “Operation Pull Over,” which means more troopers on the highways. It starts this Friday, and it runs through September 2nd. During that period, troopers will conduct sobriety checkpoints and work heavy patrols trying to catch impaired and dangerous drivers before they can cause accidents. IU researchers report our state had 158 alcohol-impaired driving fatalities in 2012, which up 13 percent from a year earlier.
