MUNCIE, Ind. (Network Indiana): The guy known as “Papa John” could be serving more than pizzas in Muncie.

The Muncie Star Press reports that Ball State may try to persuade the founder of Papa John’s to serve on its board of trustees. University officials visited John Schnatter at his company’s headquarters in Louisville two weeks ago, but a Ball State spokesperson says it was a routine alumni visit.

Schnatter made a multi-million dollar donation to the Ball State’s school of business back in March and spoke at their graduation ceremony in May of 2015. He also earned a degree from the university in 1983.
