Pence Dedicates Steuben County State Park


ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): Governor Mike Pence dedicated the states first new park in 10 years Thursday.

Trine State Recreation Area is a 186 acre property near Pokagon State Park in Steuben County.

Once a church camp, several groups including the Trine family came together to purchase the facility for $2.3 millions, then to donate it to the state.

Governor Mike Pence it's a trend setting combination of public and private organizations partnering together.
