A familiar name is returning to the Fort Wayne Komets. The team announced that Mike Vaskivuo has signed a contract to play for the K's this season. Vaskivuo was the Playoff MVP in 2012 when the Komets won the CHL championship, scoring 10 goals with 14 assists in 18 post season games. In other news, the Komets traded the rights to Daniel Maggio to San Fransisco to complete a trade in July.
