Police Chase Leads To Suspect Being Tazed

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police had to taze a suspect after a police chase through LaGrange County.

Late Monday night, the Sheriff's from LaGrange County were assisting Middlebury police in pursuit of a grey passenger car driven by 31 year old Jonathan Gaby of Middlebury. He was approaching the LaGrange/Elkhart County line, and according to our partners in news at 21 Alive, missed stop sticks at US 20 and State Road 5 and continued into Noble County. Police eventually were able to make contact with stop sticks, but the vehicle didn't stop. The suspect rammed into a Noble County Deputy's vehicle.

When the chase ended near 10125 W and 1000 N, the suspect resisted arrest and was tazed. He's now facing preliminary charges of resisting arrest and criminal recklessness.
