An apartment complex fire early this morning sends several people out into the night’s air. The call for help came in just past midnight to the complex on E. Paulding Road near Hessen Cassel. When crews showed up, they saw flames shooting out of the roof. They called for a 2nd alarm and were able to get everyone out, and believe the fire started in the attic area. It took them about an hour to get the fire out. All of the people there are being helped by the Red Cross. Investigators are combing through the rubble to try and figure out what happened.
