Police Search for Mailbox Vandals

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police in LaGrange County are searching for a group of vandals responsible for smashing mailboxes over the weekend.

Just after 8 p.m. Sunday, officials responded to the area of CR 1100 West between CR 450 and SR 120 after a report of vandalism. Once on the scene, they found several damaged and destroyed mailboxes along with a baseball bat nearby.

Police say the vehicle the group was riding in was described as a darker colored, possibly black, pickup truck. They add that anyone with information on the incident should call the Sheriff's Department.
