FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A local gas station was robbed over the weekend. Fort Wayne police say a man went into the Valero gas station on Engle near Ardmore and asked for cigarettes. When the clerk got them, the man had a gun in his hand. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, he asked for money, but the clerk ran. The man, described as black, wearing a gray sweatshirt, silver baseball cap, and a mustache and thin beard, left with the cigarettes but didn't get any cash.
