Police Warn Holiday Shoppers of Theft

Indiana State Police are warning holiday shoppers to be careful to avoid being victimized by pickpockets, purse snatchers and other wrongdoers on Black Friday. Police say the holiday season heralds not only bargains, but crime. Car break-ins, and break-ins of houses are normally on the rise during this period.  State police advise shoppers to make sure they park in well-lit areas and lock their vehicles, carry only the amount of cash or credit cards needed, and pay attention to what’s going on around you.
