Pro Skater Convicted in Sex Case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): 28-year-old professional inline skater William Bowen was taken into custody yesterday after an Allen County jury convicted him on two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. The charges stemmed from an attack that happened during an inline skating competition in Fort Wayne during the summer of 2011 where Bowen allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old girl. Court documents say the girl was also in the city for that competition and had identified herself as Bowen's “No. 1 fan.''
