HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): The public came out in force to support an elementary principal in Huntington Monday night.

More than ten people spoke out in front of a standing room only crowd at the latest Huntington County Community Schools Board meeting in support of Lincoln Elementary Principal Dr. Adam Drummond.

Our news partners at 21Alive report the board unanimously voted to tell Drummond, as well as other staffers, their contracts may not be renewed, despite opposition from parents in Drummond’s case.

The board will make a final decision by March 1st. There’s no word on why they’re considering letting Drummond go.
