Remains of 2 Civil War Vets Headed to Arlington

BREMEN, Ind. (AP): The funeral for former Indiana Governor Otis “Doc” Bowen will be held Friday in his hometown of Bremen. Bowen died Saturday night at a northern Indiana nursing home. He was governor for two four-year terms beginning in January 1973. He was HHS secretary under President Reagan from December 1985 to January 1989.
