Revamp My Romance… My wife and I will be married 40 years in October. I was in the Marine Corps and gone over half of our first 3 years together. Since then… we have served in various (and separate) full-time ministry positions. Our lives have been very busy serving others… and others… and others. I would like for this anniversary to be our most meaningful and enjoyable. Blessings!
My wife and I have been together almost ten years and married for seven. Unfortunately my mother in law passed away and we moved in with my father in law to take care of him. We never had a honeymoon or even been away alone due my father in law’s health. He has since moved on to be with my mother in law and shortly after that happened I lost my job because of Covid. I had a massive heart attack and was unable to work for several months. My loving wife worked a lot to make sure that we would be ok and our children had food on the table and a roof over their heads. Now I am making the sacrifice of being on the road 5 to 6 days a week as a truck driver. I miss my family and they know it but at the end of the day we have to be able to survive. I miss holding my wife at night ensuring her safety. I love her to the moon and back.
