Reward offered for info on hit-and-run death

LIGONIER, Ind. (WOWO): It’s been a year since a Ligonier businessman was killed in a hit-and-run accident, but so far justice has still not been served.

Both the Indiana State Police and the Noble County Sheriff’s Department are looking for any information about what happened on June 16th, 2015, when 47-year-old Anastacio Lopez’s body was found in a corn field southwest of Ligionier.

Police think he was hit by a Dodge pickup truck that left the scene while leaving behind some damaged pieces, according to 21Alive.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information that could hopefully help his family get some closure.
