FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Salvation Army is adding a new thrift store.

The latest is in the Dupont Crossing Shopping Center near Coldwater and Dupont Road. It's the eighth store in their network of stores in Fort Wayne and northeast Indiana.

Officials say it creates jobs and provides savings to customers.

A grand opening has a planned a three-day grand opening event at the store. That celebration begins Thursday.
