FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner’s office has released the identity of a Fort Wayne man who died in a Saturday afternoon shooting.
19-year-old Leon-Dre Kyles-Thomas was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside an apartment on Greene Street at about 12:15 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
He’s the 22nd homicide victim of the year for Fort Wayne and Allen County.
Police are looking for a pair of suspects who were seen riding into the apartment complex on bicycles shortly before the shooting.
