FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Reports of a second overnight standoff has ended on the south side of Fort Wayne.

According to 21 Alive, the standoff happened near West Branning Avenue on Buell Drive and came to a peaceful resolution.

It started around 1:30 a.m. when a woman and a man got into a dispute.  There’s reports the man fired a shot in the house.  The woman called a friend before she called police around 5 a.m.

Police surrounded the house, but were delayed getting out to the location because of another standoff across town.  When they got there, a woman and child were able to get out of the house safely.  The man then surrendered peacefully to police.

We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
