ILLINOIS, (WOWO) — 33 counties in Illinois say they’re fed up with things and are looking to secede from that state – joining a similar effort underway in Oregon.

Indiana Lawmakers are urging those counties to become a part of the Hoosier State instead of forming their own state.

But redrawing the state line may not be as easy as breaking out your Sharpie – The effort would require approval of BOTH State Legislatures as well as Congress.

Hoosier Lawmakers though say that this is a serious effort -as the Illinois Counties have gone on the record and made their intention to leave that state officially known to the government.
