FREMONT, Ind. (WOWO): A new state park is set to open in the area. Trine State Recreation Area will open November 2 with cabins, bike trails, a fishing lake and a lodge for large meetings.

The area is located just east of Pokagon State Park. The area had served as a resort and church camp.

It was purchased by a local group and given to the state. For more info, click here.
