Steuben & LaGrange Counties Extend Emergency Snow Warnings Indefinitely

STEUBEN & LAGRANGE, Ind. (WOWO): The County Commissioners of both Steuben and LaGrange County are extending their Emergency Snow Warnings indefinitely. The Highway Department has reported difficulty with drifted snow and visibility because of blowing snow in their attempts to clear roadways. In addition to asking the public to stay off the roads, the commissioners are asking residents not to put shoveled or plowed snow in the roadways, because it’s creating another set of problems for plows. County leaders are also asking residents NOT to call county communications, as it takes away from emergency situations.
