Struck Pedestrian Identified

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police have identified the pedestrian struck by a car near Bishop Luers. 56-year-old Thomas Highlen of Fort Wayne was hit while crossing the crosswalk at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Paulding Road around 10:30 yesterday morning. Police say he started into the intersection while the traffic light was still red, but before he could make it across the roadway it turned to green. Highlen is currently in critical condition.
