Stutzman Issues Statement on Fort Wayne School Cutbacks

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): Today U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement in response to Fort Wayne Community Schools cutting the hours of more than 600 part-time workers in order to satisfy the requirements of the federal health care law:

“President Obama told us recently that we’re benefiting from Obamacare even if we don’t know it. The 610 Hoosiers in Fort Wayne earning smaller paychecks for their families probably disagree. Make no mistake; this is not something any of us want our school districts to go through. However, my fear is that schools across Indiana and the nation will soon have to take similarly drastic measures to comply. For this reason Obamacare must be repealed.”
