FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Grocery giant SuperValu says it plans to cut hundreds of jobs… but the company tells WOWO News that none of the layoffs will be here in the Fort Wayne area.  About 1,100 jobs will be trimmed, mostly at the corporate level and in office support positions,,, in other parts of the country.  The reductions represent about three percent of the workforce for the company, which employs about 35,000 workers.
