Suspect Charged in Church Break-ins

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man has been charged with breaking into a northeast side church.

Authorities say 21-year old Austin Hutchens broke into Messiah Lutheran Church twice and was caught during a third attempt in May.

According to the Journal-Gazette, Hutchens and a friend made off with snacks, two laptops and several tubs of cookie dough. Police found tools used in the break in when he was arrested.

He's held on $32,000 dollars bond.
