FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The suspect that was shot in an officer involved shooting was arrested Monday at a local hospital after being cleared.

23 year old Lamont Carpenter Jr is in jail, charged with pointing a firearm which is a level 6 felony.

He was involved in a shooting situation on the city’s southeast side on June 12 and was shot by police.
