Suspect wanted in hit-and-run bike crash that sent man to hospital in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO): A man was hospitalized after a car struck him while he was driving his bike in New Haven. Police are looking for the car driver.

Police were called to the intersection of Seiler and Minnich Roads at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, according to the New Haven Police Department.

Witnesses say a silver car was traveling southbound on Minch Road when it struck a man on a bike. The car then turned around and drove away.

Police say the suspect was a young man with brown hair and a goatee. A young woman was also in the car.

The victim was treated for head injuries and skin lacerations.
