SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): A Syracuse man has been arrested on sexual misconduct charges.

25-year-old Richard Hardwick III is accused by the Kosciusko County prosecutor's office of having sexual intercourse with a girl that he knew was underage. 

The victim told Syracuse Police Department officers that she skipped school on November 4th, 2014 and met with Hardwick at his residence. She told police the two went to a shed behind his residence and kissed and fondled her before they had intercourse.

Hardwick was arrested this week and remains in the Kosciusko County Jail on $25,500 bond.
