Three Arrested After Smell Leads Kendallville Officers to Meth Lab

KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers on patrol in Kendallville used one of their senses to uncover a meth lab.


They used their sense of smell to uncover a clandestine meth lab on Colonial Drive on the southern end of town shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday night.

When officers searched the house, they found a meth lab that was in the process of being set up along with meth precursors and evidence of past meth labs in trash cans outside the house.

Three people inside the home were arrested, though only 41 year old James Miller was charged with drug charges. All three where charged with either visiting or maintaining a common nuisance.
