STATEWIDE, (WOWO) — INDOT reminds drivers to keep their tanks full, and to make sure there are important emergency supplies in the car.

These include jumper cables, a flashlight, ice scraper, shovel, kitty litter or sand for traction, a phone charger, a first aid kit, flares or reflective cones, water and snacks, and a warm weather coat with gloves, a hat, and warm blankets.

It’s also a good time to make sure your spare tire is fully inflated.
