Two Family Members Killed in I-74 Crash in W. Ind.

CRAWFORDVILLE, Ind. (AP): State police say a Crawfordsville man and his 10-year-old son were killed when the minivan they were in on Interstate 74 struck the back of a semitrailer in western Indiana.

State police identified the victims as 42-year-old Max Bruner II and his son, Bradley Bruner. Police say the minivan traveling eastbound on I-74 near Waynestown, about 60 miles west of Indianapolis, about 3 p.m. Saturday when it struck a semitrailer loaded with steel that was slowing down.

The Montgomery County coroner pronounced them dead at the scene.
