FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two people and a pet were able to escape a house fire Friday night on St. Louis Avenue.
Fort Wayne fire crews were called to the home around 11:30 p.m., Friday. Once on the scene, they found moderate smoke coming from the roof of the attic of the one story home. Firefighters used an aggressive attack to bring the blaze under control in about 18 minutes.
Two adults and one pet were able to get out of the home before fire crews arrived. No injuries were reported, but investigators are still looking into the cause.
