UPDATE: Anthony Wayne Statue Moving

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A well-known Fort Wayne landmark is moving. 

Mayor Tom Henry and leaders from Parks and Recreation unveiled a plan that would move the General Anthony Wayne statue from Freimann Square to the Courthouse Green.
It still needs to be approved by the park board, but should be finished before the end of September. 
Mayor Tom Henry and Parks & Recreation Department leaders today announced plans that call for the General Anthony Wayne statue to be moved from Freimann Square to the Courthouse Green.
Official say they want to draw more attention to the statue. The project is excepted to cost about $75,000.
